An opening that does not resist—
but absorbs what moves toward it.
Jerusalem – Soft Threshold shifts the structure from weight to sensitivity. The arch remains central, but its edges loosen, its surface opening into color that does not fully settle. Form is present, yet softened—held without rigidity.
Figures gather at the base, reduced to vertical traces, almost dissolving into the ground. Their movement is not defined by direction, but by proximity—drawn toward the opening without urgency.
Color enters more freely here—muted rose, soft violet, and pale gold—spreading across the surface in layers that blur the boundary between structure and atmosphere.
The passage is no longer controlled.
It is receptive.
This is not a fixed entry.
It is a space that yields.
As a one-of-a-kind original, this work does not impose itself on a space.
It settles into it—through softness, openness, and the quiet pull of an unresolved threshold.
