Abstract – When It Finally Softens

It doesn’t happen all at once. The surface begins to give way slowly, as if something that was held for too long starts to loosen, not through force, but through quiet release. Layers fall into each other, color dissolving into something softer, something less guarded. Below, the reflection holds what remains, not as it was, but as it becomes when it no longer needs to stay intact. There is no sharp moment of change, only a gradual shift from holding to allowing. This is the space where resistance fades, where what felt heavy begins to lose its grip, and something inside you finally softens—not completely, but enough to breathe again.
