Abstract – What Stays Beneath

Not everything rises to the surface. The layers build upward, soft and worn, carrying traces of what has passed through without ever fully disappearing. Nothing here feels immediate or sharp; it settles into itself, holding time rather than movement. The lower edge remains dense, grounded, as if everything that could not be lifted simply stayed. Above it, the surface opens slightly, but never enough to separate from what lies beneath. This is not about change or transformation—it is about what remains, what continues to exist quietly, even when it is no longer at the center of attention. Some things do not need to move forward in order to stay present.
