Abstract – Holding the Line

There is a point where things stop shifting. The surface settles into a clear division, a line that does not blur or dissolve, holding its place without needing to justify itself. Above it, form remains contained and defined; below it, everything loosens, falls away, and becomes less certain. The contrast does not create tension—it creates clarity. Not everything needs to merge, and not everything needs to move. Some things are meant to remain exactly where they are, steady and unchanged, regardless of what surrounds them. This is not about control or release, but about knowing where the line is—and choosing not to cross it.
