Chassidim – Center Held focuses on a contained formation, where movement gathers around an implied core rather than a visible one. Created in Jerusalem, the work captures a moment where direction is inward—even as the bodies remain in motion.

The figures are positioned in a loose triangle, each engaged in the same upward gesture, yet oriented differently. Their steps are lifted, but not aligned; their movement connects through relation, not symmetry.

A soft, open field occupies the center, creating a pause within the composition. This space does not interrupt the motion—it defines it, giving each figure a point of reference without fixing it.

The surrounding tones of blue, pale grey, and muted gold create a contained environment, holding the figures without enclosing them.
