A narrow passage of light cutting through depth—
where the unknown is not erased, but illuminated.
Splitting the Sea – Path of Light explores a quieter, more intimate dimension of the moment of crossing. Created in Jerusalem, the work moves beyond the physical drama of the parted sea, focusing instead on the inner movement toward clarity and direction.
Vertical planes of deep blue rise on either side, forming a powerful sense of enclosure, while a luminous path emerges at the center—soft golds and light tones opening forward. The composition draws the eye inward, guiding it along a collective movement that is both grounded and ascending.
Figures are suggested through rhythm and texture, not defined by form, creating a sense of shared motion—many becoming one, moving with purpose through uncertainty. The contrast between density and light gives the piece a quiet tension, a moment of decision held in suspension.
As a one-of-a-kind original, this work carries a refined yet commanding presence. Within a space, it introduces both structure and calm, often becoming a visual anchor that draws the room inward.
This piece is held in private collections across the United States.
