The prayers, messages, concerns, all woven onto this canvas.
At the Western Wall, soldiers and civilians stood side by side, no words, holding strength, faith, and hope together. I painted this not as a specific scene, but as a shared experience: a people standing as one, in Israel and beyond. The figures are intentionally softened and almost anonymous. They are not meant to represent individuals, but a shared human presence. The Wall stands steady behind them, layered with texture, history, and continuity. The palette is restrained whites, greys, taupes, and olive-toned khaki, with touches of gold. This work is for those who sought a way to hold unity, prayer, and strength within the space they live in.
