A meeting of structure and growth—
where permanence and renewal exist side by side.
Between Stone and Life unfolds as a diptych that explores the quiet dialogue between the enduring presence of Jerusalem’s sacred architecture and the living landscape that surrounds it. Created in Jerusalem, the work reflects the balance between what is fixed in time and what continues to evolve.
On one panel, the Western Wall rises in textured stone, its surface layered with history and memory. On the other, a natural setting opens outward—anchored by a solitary tree and a modest architectural form, introducing space, movement, and organic life.
The contrast between the two panels is deliberate yet harmonious, allowing the viewer to experience both strength and softness within a single composition. Figures move gently through each scene, rendered through subtle, gestural strokes that integrate human presence into the environment.
The visual rhythm flows from structure to landscape, creating a sense of continuity rather than separation.
As a one-of-a-kind original diptych, this piece introduces balance and depth into a space. Particularly suited for refined, design-conscious interiors, it often becomes a grounding visual anchor—bringing stability, openness, and a sense of living connection into the room.
