Chassidim – Marked Beats isolates a measured rhythm, where movement is defined not only by the step itself, but by the intervals around it. Created in Jerusalem, the work focuses on repetition that is structured, not free—each gesture returning to the same point.

The figures rise in near unison, arms lifted, feet leaving the ground, coats following the motion. Their alignment is close, but not exact—each caught at a slightly different moment within the same cycle.

Vertical gold elements interrupt the surface, acting as markers across the field. They do not decorate; they divide time, creating a visual cadence that the movement follows.

The background remains restrained and open, allowing spacing and repetition to carry the composition without distraction.
