Gathering at the Gate unfolds as a diptych that captures the collective experience of approaching a sacred place. Created in Jerusalem, the work reflects the way individuals come together—each from their own direction—yet are drawn toward a common center.

On one panel, a steady flow of figures moves along a path toward an arched entrance, rendered through soft layers of pale stone and muted tones. On the other, the gateway stands more prominently, receiving that movement—its form defined yet gently diffused by light and atmosphere.

The figures, expressed through delicate, gestural strokes, create a sense of continuity and rhythm. Their presence is not defined individually, but as part of a shared motion—an ongoing act of arrival.
