Kotel – Where It Doesn’t Resolve

You don’t find a clear image—you remain with something that does not fully settle. The surface builds itself through layers that overlap without completing one another, as if everything brought here stays present, but never arranges itself into something final. There is no single form to hold onto and no clear structure to guide the eye, only a field of fragments that carry weight without explanation. Along the lower edge, the figures remain small and continuous, grounding the scene without interrupting it, each one part of a quiet repetition that does not need to be seen in order to be understood. What is held here does not resolve into clarity, and it is not meant to. It remains in between—between thought and prayer, between presence and distance—where something stays unfinished, and therefore never disappears.
