A circle that never fully closes—
yet nothing falls out of place.
Chassidim – Held by Rhythm explores a dispersed formation where connection is maintained without physical contact. Created in Jerusalem, the work focuses on how rhythm can structure space—even when figures remain apart.
Each figure is positioned independently, engaged in playing or movement, yet aligned through a shared cadence. There is no direct interaction, no central gathering point—only a continuous relationship built through repetition and timing.
The surface is layered in cool blues, creating a unified field that holds the figures without fixing them. Vertical gold elements interrupt the space, acting as markers of energy rather than decoration.
The composition is intentionally open. Movement is not contained within a boundary, but sustained across distance, allowing the eye to travel without interruption.
There is no climax or resolution—only continuation.
As a one-of-a-kind original, this piece introduces balance and rhythm into a space. It often becomes a focal point that holds attention through structure, spacing, and the quiet persistence of movement.
