Six figures, separated in space—
yet held together by a single rhythm.
Chassidim – Sound in Motion isolates the relationship between movement and music, where each figure occupies its own position, but none stand alone. Created in Jerusalem, the work focuses on how rhythm travels—through gesture, posture, and repetition.
Each figure performs a distinct action: playing, lifting, turning. They do not face one another directly, yet their gestures align, forming an invisible structure across the surface. The space between them becomes active, carrying the connection.
The background is built through layered blues, creating depth without defining location. Vertical gold accents appear intermittently, marking points of intensity—like pulses within the rhythm.
There is no central figure. The composition is distributed, balanced through spacing and repetition rather than hierarchy.
Movement is sustained, not dramatic. Each gesture feels part of a longer sequence, continuing beyond what is shown.
As a one-of-a-kind original, this piece introduces rhythm and structure into a space. It often becomes a focal point that holds attention through balance, repetition, and the quiet precision of movement.
