Abstract – Rising Through It

It doesn’t begin light. The surface builds from density, from weight that gathers and holds low before it starts to lift. Nothing shifts all at once; the movement is gradual, almost unnoticed, as if something within the structure begins to change direction without needing to break apart. Texture carries that transition, moving upward, allowing space to open without losing what came before. The lower layers remain present, grounding the piece, while above them, something softer begins to take over. This is not about leaving anything behind—it is about moving through it, allowing what felt heavy to rise into something that can finally breathe.
