A city that does not hold its edges—
but softens into what surrounds it.
Jerusalem – Fading Horizon reduces the landscape to a suspended line between presence and disappearance. The city gathers at the center, held lightly, without weight or definition. Its forms are suggested rather than built—domes, walls, and density dissolving into a surface that refuses to fix them in place.
Above, the space opens into a pale, textured field, carrying more of the composition than the city itself. Below, darker tones anchor the image, but without grounding it fully. Everything feels slightly lifted, as if the structure could fade at any moment.
Color appears in restrained touches—soft golds, muted blues, and hints of warmth—never settling into clarity, always remaining in transition.
There is no entry, no movement inward.
Only a line that holds—
and slowly releases.
As a one-of-a-kind original, this work does not define the city.
It allows it to remain unresolved—held between memory and absence.
